Good Manners at School

In this activity, students will practice school manners through a role play. They will act out short conversations between a teacher and a student using simple English sentences. This activity helps students understand polite behavior and classroom expectations while building speaking confidence.

Role Play: Good Manners at School

  • The teacher starts with a warm-up following the whiteboard suggested topics.
  • Explain clearly that this is a student-to-student role play. One student will pretend to be the teacher, and the other will pretend to be the student.
  • Show one example dialogue so students understand the format.
  • Give students time to practice reading their parts in pairs.
  • Students perform the role play with their partner.
  • After finishing, students switch roles so both can practice being the teacher and the student.
  • If time allows, students may change partners and repeat the activity.
  • The teacher supports students who need help with reading or pronunciation.
