Hieroglyphics and Writing

The goal of the lesson is to improve their vocabulary, communication, and reading comprehension skills while showing them a rich language model used in ancient Egypt. It’s important to know that communication can be done with anything, not just words.

Hieroglyphs Writing

  • The teacher will explain the activity and introduce the materials to the kids.
  • The teacher will show the video about the hieroglyphic language to the kids.
  • Each student will receive 1 Hieroglyphics decoder sheet.
  • The kids will compare each hieroglyphics with the table and start decoding letter by letter to find the secret phrases.

Today, we learned to decode hieroglyphics to find the secret phrases in an exciting activity. Comparing symbols from a table to reveal secret phrases helped us to practice spelling and learn new forms of communication while discovering language mysteries together!
