Ever seen a robot in a movie? Robots can do amazing things, like explore space or even play chess! Today, we’ll learn about robots and their brains (called AI) and build our own robots using cool recycled stuff!

DIY Robot Design Challenge

  • The teacher will collect materials at school: cans, paper cups, paper rolls, lids, paper, origami paper, straws, sticks, anything the kids can use to craft their little toy robot.
  • If the students lack ideas, search for “Robot toy craft for kids” on Google to give the students some inspiration.
  • The students can take their toys home.
  • The teacher and the kids will spend some time discussing how they think the future will be in 10, 50, 100, and 1000 years.
  • Show the kids some photos of other robots, so they can make their own toy with a reference.
  • The teacher can show the “9 Most Advanced AI Robots” video to teach about different types of robots that we can see in our everyday lives.
