Augmented Reality
Ever wanted to see a dinosaur in your living room or paint pictures on your phone without getting messy? That’s the magic of Augmented Reality (AR)! Today, we’ll learn how AR works by playing fun games and using cool filters on our phones!
AR Games on CECI Instagram
- The teacher will show the video about AR and VR to the kids.
- The teacher will explain the activity, introduce the Instagram AR filters using the school’s Instagram account.
- The teacher will guide the kids to use iPhone/iPad safely, so as not to acidentally view or post inappropriate content. (This is why it’s important to be logged into the CECI account, instead of the teacher’s personal account.)
- Start a discussion with the kids: “How do you think this technology can be useful?” and “How do you see this technology in 10 years?” E.g. “Use at school? Doctors, airplane pilots, a supermarket in your living room, dentist, try clothes at home before ordering online.”
