Household Chores
In this activity, students will learn common household chores through a fun Memory Card Game. They will practice recognizing everyday chores while improving their vocabulary, memory, concentration, and teamwork.
Memory Game: Household Chores
- The teacher starts with a warm-up following the whiteboard suggested topics.
- Review all household chore vocabulary together.
- Shuffle the Household Chore Cards.
- Place all cards face down in a grid.
- Students take turns flipping over two cards.
- If the cards show the same household chore, the student keeps the pair and says the key phrase.
- If the cards do not match, turn them face down again and continue to the next player.
- The student with the most matching pairs wins.
- Review all household chore vocabulary together at the end.
